2. Lifetime Warranty (Selected Products Only)

Certain products may be advertised as carrying a lifetime warranty. For the purposes of this policy, “lifetime” refers to the reasonable operational life of the product under normal use.

The lifetime warranty is subject to the following strict conditions:

  • It is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser

  • Valid only while the product remains installed on a vehicle owned by the original purchaser

  • Proof of original purchase is required for all claims

  • If the vehicle is sold, transferred, or otherwise changes ownership, the lifetime warranty is immediately void

  • The warranty does not restart or transfer under any circumstances

Vee Dub Transporters reserves the right to determine whether a product qualifies for lifetime warranty coverage.

3. Third-Party / Branded Products

Products manufactured by third-party brands may be supplied with their own manufacturer’s warranty. In such cases:

  • The manufacturer’s warranty terms take precedence

  • Warranty claims must be handled directly with the manufacturer unless otherwise agreed

  • Vee Dub Transporters accepts no responsibility for the duration, coverage, or outcome of third-party warranty claims

4. Conditions of Warranty Validity

This warranty is valid only if:

  • The product has been installed correctly, following any supplied instructions or industry best practices

  • The product has been used solely for its intended purpose

  • The product has not been subject to misuse, abuse, or neglect

  • No unauthorised modifications, alterations, or repairs have been carried out

  • Suitable maintenance and care have been performed where applicable

We strongly recommend professional installation for all vehicle products. Failure to do so may invalidate the warranty.

5. What Is Covered

Subject to the terms of this policy, the warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Faulty components or materials

  • Premature failure under normal use

At our discretion, we will:

  • Repair the product, or

  • Replace the product with the same or equivalent item, or

  • Issue a refund (where repair or replacement is not feasible)

6. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (including but not limited to finishes, coatings, seals, or consumable parts)

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

  • Damage caused by:

    • Improper or incorrect installation

    • Misuse, abuse, or negligence

    • Accidents, collisions, or external impacts

    • Environmental conditions (e.g., corrosion from road salt, weather exposure)

    • Use in racing, commercial, or non-standard applications unless explicitly stated

  • Electrical faults caused by incorrect wiring or integration

  • Labour costs associated with installation, removal, or reinstallation

  • Any indirect or consequential losses (including loss of use, travel costs, or business interruption)

7. Warranty Claims Process

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must:

  1. Contact Vee Dub Transporters with:

    • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

    • Description of the fault

    • Photographic or video evidence where requested

  2. Await assessment and instructions before returning any product

Important:

  • Products must not be returned without prior authorisation

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless agreed otherwise

  • We reserve the right to inspect and test returned items before approving a claim

8. Inspection & Determination

All warranty claims are subject to inspection. Vee Dub Transporters reserves the right to:

11. Commercial Use

Unless explicitly stated, products are intended for private use only. Use in commercial, fleet, or high-wear environments may:

  • Void the warranty, or

  • Reduce the warranty period at our discretion

12. Statutory Rights

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK consumer protection laws. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights.
